Eric Dowling, 35, hadn’t had steady work for more than four years before he came to the Dream Station.
“I have five children and a wife to support, and I don’t want a handout,” he said. “But I had lost hope that anyone would give me a chance.” Eric states that he was about to turn to crime out of desperation. But all that changed.
Eric heard about the Dream Station on TV and wanted to check it out. He said his life hasn’t been the same since.
“Ms. Kay told me God had a plan for my life and that my hope was in Him. I started work last January, and I love it. It’s my responsibility to take care for my family. Now I can do that.”
Eric is recognized as a dependable, effective, flexible worker at Sage Valley Golf Club in Graniteville, South Carolina. Eric's wife, Rain, attended the Spring session and is now working at AllStar Tents and Rentals in Aiken. Both have celebrated their one year anniversaries at work. Their five children participate in the Diapers to Diplomas program at the KidStation.
